I went for Education Day at Lincoln's Inn on Monday.

I was shattered when I got back at 1am on Tuesday morning. Imagine waking up at 6ish am and getting back at 1am! At times like these Im so grateful that I live at Aberdare Hall because the bus stopped us at the bend outside law school..which is just 2 mins away from AH.

It's already late February but the weather is still so terrible. I miss the sun so much!!

"Oh Mr sun, sun, mr golden sun, please come out and play with us!" haha i remember singing along this tune whilst watching Barney the purple dinosaur! That's my fav cartoon when i was young. hehehe.

Okie anyway back to Education Day, Cardiff Uni paid for the travel by bus so we all saved at least 20 quit. Teng che bought me motion sickness medicine some time ago and I had always been afraid to take it because of the side effects like rash and etc. But on Monday i decided to overcome my fears and took it before I boarded the bus. Guess what! I experienced one of the side effects throughout the day - Drowsiness! omg! so terrible. I was so drowsy throughout the whole time the speakers were talking. The bright side of it was that i didnt feel like vomiting at all throughout the 3.5 hour journey to London. Oh and another downfall was not being able to consume alcohol because the effect of alcohol + the motion sickness drug = heightened drowsiness.

Ooooh! I forgot to mention the fact that this bus right, did not mention that there were any toilets available. So, as u know, or not know, I have a very small bladder and I love to drink water coz I get thirsty easily. The bus started the journey at 8 and by half past 8, i really needed to use the loo. My good friend, Priscilla who sat next to me on the other side of the aisle actually went up twice to tell the bus driver to make a comfort stop so that I could use the toilet! she is sooo sweet! God bless her. And the bus driver was soooo mean because he didnt even mention that they had a toilet on the bus! Why? Because this bus does not belong to their company, they rented it for the day and did not want to take the trouble to wash and clean it! That is outrageously mean to the maximum! Now we bring human rights into play. He made me tahan for more than 3o minutes..my poor bladder! I felt so sorry for it. I was really suffering then. I know. Laugh all u want but during that 30 mins it was nothing but torture! :,(

Okie back to Education Day, it was domus night. I love domus night because we are placed to sit with people that we do not know. That's way fun because you get to know other people and u listen to their dreams and aspirations and that altogether inspires you to achieve greater heights than before. The best part was being placed next to a very established criminal barrister based in London. Ohh!! God is so good to me! We talked throughout the whole night and at the end of the conversation, she told me to look her out, and email her whenever i need help and she'll try her best to help me. I believe that she was talking about pupillage.

She taught me so much about the criminal process, the way she handles her cases, the bar, interview tips, how to sell yourself etc. What a down to earth barrister! Never taught i would meet someone like her. Ive learnt so much from her..so much that I think I might forget what I learnt if I dont write them down.

Anyway I didnt take many pictures of myself because i got a hair cut last week and it was horrible! My hairstylist did the opposite of what I told her to (that's life, isnt it?-haha the last thing i want to be is a cynic.) Anyway, she cut my fringe so short!!! :,( Made me so sad only.

Okie..i GTG for now. These days i have been doing nothing but sleeping.

Anyway, please do pray that I will pass my Opinion Writing assessment which i undertook last month. I just hope that I pass and that i would not have to resit any paper.

We do not remember days; we remember moments. I was once told by a friend that we should do the following: To laugh often and much; to appreciate beauty, to find the best in others; and know that great things can only come with hardship because everything happens for a reason.
