F-R-E-E-D-O-M!!
AT LAST!! Finally!! Im done with exams. I feel so happy. My burden is lifted. I cant believe tonight is going to be the first night in 2 months that i dont need to set my alarm to wake up at 9am to study. hehee. No more studying till 12am. No more!!!
When i look at how far ive come, i really thank God for bringing me to where i am today - 2nd year law student. Today, as i walked towards the Great Hall, Student Union to sit for my last paper (Labour Law), I noticed this sign placed on top of the entrance of my law school - Cardiff Law School. Suddenly, it struck me. I am studying in a law school! So happy to have this chance. hehe sounds so prestigious rite? hehehe okielah. Probably not as prestigious as Harvard Law School but STILL! Only 4% of the world's population have the chance to go to university okie! I feel so blessed :) Yay i cant wait to graduate! Next yearrrr!! :) I am extremely grateful towards my parents for sending me to UK to pursue my tertiary education. Papa and mummy, thank you for giving me this chance. And my mother is the cutest and the most caring-est of all. She always call me after my paper. hehe thanks mummy! I have the 'bestest' mother in the world.
I dont know how i managed to go through SPM or A-levels. The amount of papers we have to sit! It's a KILLER man! This time around i only have to sit for 5 papers which was spread out in 3 weeks and 4days but i feel so tortured already. hehheehe yayyyy!! Im so happie. happie happie!! Plus it was more torturing when most of my friends were out in the sun enjoying themselves while i still had another paper to go. heheheh at least it's over now. When i was asleep last night, i was praying, oh God please let 5.30am come asap (i had to wake up at that time to do my last revision - sOO much to study k. I pity those takin Labour law next year. It's doable so dont let anyone discouraged u from takin it but there're super duper a lot of statutes to remember)
Do you know that in the UK, if you are expecting a baby, you are entitled to 52 weeks of maternity leave and u'll be paid 39 weeks by the State? The first 6 weeks they will pay you at your normal rate of earnings but the further 33 weeks at 117.18pounds. If you earn higher than that amount, then the State will pay you your original earnings for the full 39 weeks!!!The people here have so much rights okie! Im glad i took this subject cause i learn a lot about employment rights - Unfair dismissal, redundancy, working time regulations..etc. Very interesting. But it;s a pity that i understand all these things only before exam!! haha. sigh. Next year i must study consistently after coming back from every lecture!! hehehhe. Try laa! :P
Okie im going out to have dinner at Hard Rock Cafe and then watch a movie afterwards. Actually i didnt wanna have HRC coz i wanna use the money to buy a dress! hehe. GIRLS! But then, i should go out and relax rite since i worked so hard. I really thank God!! I lift my eyes from the hills, where does my help come from? My help comes from the Lord, the maker of heaven and earth! Jesus u are my victory and my help in every time of need! Thank u Lord! I will not be able to pull through ALLLLL my exams with great results without You. :)

Ann

About Me

- Hui Ann
- We do not remember days; we remember moments. I was once told by a friend that we should do the following: To laugh often and much; to appreciate beauty, to find the best in others; and know that great things can only come with hardship because everything happens for a reason.
