FriSat
FRIDAY

Haha anyways, I find solace in realising that the most important thing is what's underneath all those make up and designer clothes. People who are truly beautiful are those with a sincere heart. The most dangerous and offensive weapon is not one made out of physical machinery guns but one that everyone owns - the tongue! What it can do, no one can perceive. With all its malicity and beastly execution, the consequences of it causes much damage in individuals' lives. The world must be a better place if everyone mind their own business and refrain from slandering one another. (Regarding politics and world news, those r an exception)
That day i made my record. I had 2 tequila shots, malibu and a german beer! O-M-G yeah? haha. I know. And i must mention the fact that i love being a girl. I didnt even spend a single penny that night. First, Kenneth's friend, Kent Loon bought all of us german beer. Then, Kenneth spent us all a tequila shot. And boy was i excited because ive always wanted to try it. For tepid drinkers like myself who constantly orders pineapple malibu (addition to that list would be strongbow), it was strangely interesting to try out new stuff. First you gotta put a few dashes of salt onto our hand, lick it and down the tequila and quickly suck a lime. Cool rite??! hehehe. Gee i really do love these first time feelings! It always relinquishes the highest satisfaction.
SATURDAY

All geared up to start work! My friend said that we look like we're gonna take lesen motor memandu =_=;; haha. Love those hi-vi. First time wearing those thingy.
Met so many Malaysians there.
Didnt know that they were working on the same day as well.
Patrick, Cindy and i were in a team together.
He had to stay in this booth while Cindy and i respectively had our own area to cover.
Reached at 1pm but then had nothing much to do till 3. And i was starving because i only had cereal for breakfast (somemore it's Special K which makes me hungry really quickly). Wah we're such heroes for sleeping so late and waking up for work the next day. Back to the story, the food stalls werent open yet. Grr!
But like i said, it's a privilege to be a girl.
AH this is the bomb! Thank God the food stalls were closed! I wanted to have hot dog but Cindy found this store outside and we bought Chicken Burgers for 3.50pounds. So yummy!!! Better than McD or Burger King anytime. Somemore they gave us each 2 big "real" chicken patties.
Seriously yummy! hehe. Cindy is like a mouse. Her mouth is so small so she struggled eating the burger. Unlike me, im a pro in eating burgers. YUM! Im Jughead Jones' sister - Jellybean! hehe

Managed to watch most of the game. One ticket (good seating) cost about 55 pounds. I think it can go up to 3 digits for a really good seat.
That night, the stadium was FULL! 70 000 ppl.
Australia won. They came up with a very good defence strategy! Wales went down one by one everytime they wanna score. Sad :( Kena squashed by the fat n bulky Australians!! Seriosuly they are HUGE!!! Google them and compare with Welsh rugby players :.(
It was a good game tho :)
ANd.. I earned 41 pounds!! WHEE!
I feel so proud of myself. For 6 and a 1/2 hours, i think it's pretty good money :)
Cant wait to work for the next match.
In case you're wondering what's FriSat, it actually means Fri & Sat - I just wanted the title to sound more cool. hehehe.
My weekends have always been filled with sthg to do. So it's good in a way that there's always sthg up but not so good in d way that i feel that my weekends passes by too quickly, u know what i'd mean??
This week has been quite a memorable one. Last friday night commences my first clubbing night for the first semester of the year. haha. I KNOW! Im such a loser huh?? hehehe. Nah. Takes more than this to ruin my self esteem. It was Kirsty's bday and so Cindy, Kenneth and I went to Oceana-the colour theme was white. We met most of the BVC students over there.

It's like magic on the skin.

Anyway you wont believe it. When we reached Lloyds Bar (supposed to have pre-drinks before we hit the club) Kenneth forgot to bring his driving license (which ive reminded him, tsk tsk) and so we took a cab back to his place. Then, when we reached the bar, Cindy had to go back to her place bcoz they do not recognise her international student card which they previously did the 2 times she went and so, yeah we took a cab again and by the time we returned to town, we went straight into oceana to get our free drink with a voucher we printed out. yay! hehe. Cindy n i had malibu while Kenneth had some vodka mix.

Then after that, Yun Sin aka the generous guy who spends ppl drinks all the time, bought 22 tequila shots for everyone because the bday girl, Kirsty turned 22 that night! O-M-G x100!
The songs that night was quite good. Danced quite a lot with Cindy and the other BVC girls. Had a few romantic moments with cindy!! hahahahaa she is so funny when she's tipsy. Sara and Kenneth took care of us coz we kinda lost our sense of balance but our minds were still in tact of coz. Met Niresh and his mates and we chat a bit. All in all, it was quite a fun social event. Too bad i didbt bring my camera (coz i tot Cindy would bring and she tot the same of me too!) haha.

SATURDAY
It is the home of the Wales national rugby union team and the Wales national football team but is also host to many other large scale events, such as Wales Rally Great Britain stage of the World Rally Championship, Speedway Grand Prix of Great Britain, boxing and many music concerts, including Tina Turner, Madonna, The Rolling Stones, U2 and the Tsunami Relief concert. It was built ready for Cardiff to host the 1999 Rugby World Cup.

Didnt know that they were working on the same day as well.
Im really glad i study at Cardiff. I love it to the max! Such a beautiful place with wonderful people. The welsh are really nice. I got to talk to few of my clients. (One of them even told me how he met his girlfriend who's from Manila haha.) It was an honour to be able to speak to the manager of Barclays Bank! Her name is Sandra and we just started talking because i was standing next to her, selling the programmes. She was telling me about the business and how it's operating so differently compared to how it was 30 years ago (that's how long she has been working with Barclays). Last time it's all about the customers. Today, everything is about the $$$. Sad huh? Money is the stellar of most operations these days. She also told me that one of the wales rugby players is studying law and his father is Tom Jones, one of the most reputable solicitors in Wales. wah! So keng rite? Father and son are so famous.

He had to stay in this booth while Cindy and i respectively had our own area to cover.

But like i said, it's a privilege to be a girl.
Better than nothing lar. A hungry man is an angry man! haha. I always say that to my father when we have late dinner and we're all starving. sigh good memories i miss having sunday dinners together with my parents.

That night, the stadium was FULL! 70 000 ppl.
About the job, there were lots of crazy guys who might be a bit high after a few pints of beer Many of them asked me for my number in exchange for buying a programme which cost at a dear price of 5 pounds! haha it was hilarious rejecting them. The kwai los are very thick face. They wont accept no for an answer. In case ure wondering, no i didnt give them my number. The worst was having people asking for a discount! =_=;; I told them i would love to but im only a poor student selling programmes to earn extra cash! haha.

It was a good game tho :)

About Me

- Hui Ann
- We do not remember days; we remember moments. I was once told by a friend that we should do the following: To laugh often and much; to appreciate beauty, to find the best in others; and know that great things can only come with hardship because everything happens for a reason.
