These Few Days
1) Hairspray
Yup I watched Hairspray the musical with Melody and my cheche in Millennium Centre at the Bay! IT was AMAZIGNZ!! I was entertained at every second! It's definitely a few good musical and every one should watch it if they have the chance. My favourite song was "I can hear the bells". They performed so well for that part! hehe. Besides that, we bought our tickets for 15pounds! Dirt cheap eh? So happy to have the opportunity to watch the original cast all the way from London. Im blessed!!! I love the man who played the role of main actress' mother...He(She) was hilarious at the last dancing scene with the father! haha they actually had to hold themselves back from laughing. It was obvious as there were a few obscene impromptu lines made right there and then and boy, do the audience love them!!
Very comfortable!
She's tough, independent, kind, generous & definitely one smarty pants.
2) Andre's 21st bday bash!
Didnt really take many pictures that night. Was feeling lazy.
3) Flowers in the House
Hv no idea y it looks more orangey here.
I think there was more light exposure when i took this pic.
4) On the way in becoming a chef/a very intellectual housewife
This is by far one of the best dishes that I've cooked. It tastes exactly like what you have outside! I was so proud to tell my parents that I have successfully master the skill in cooking this ginger and scallion fish! (Actually it's so easy, anyone can cook this to perfection) Looking back, it was a mere coincidence that I bought Basa fish- a Vietnamese catfish which was the ideal fish for this dish! :D
Tastes exactly like the dish Kakak cooks at home.
MMMmmmmm.. My sister and I absolutely love it!
Very easy. Firstly, stirfry some ginger (about 2 inches, sliced), 1 onion (diced) and some dried chilli until u harum the bau wangi of the ingredients. After 5 minutes, throw in the spare ribs that have been splashed with 2 full teaspoons of corn flour (B4 that, I also poured over boiling water and sifted it to get rid of the pork smell). Turn the heat to maximum and give it a good stir. (Make sure u added enough olive oil) Then add in 2 teaspoon of chilli bean sauce. After that, put in some dark sauce, light soya sauce, sugar to your own preference. Add in 2 bowls of water. Turn the fire heat to the lowest and let it simmer for 45 minutes. When it's almost ready and the pork is succulent, pour in diced spring onion (cut into 2 inches long). Dish out. Yumm. (p.s: I used 600g of pork ribs)
Yummy!
Drumsticks marinated with Pesto sauce, garnished with pepper, onions and sprinkled with a healthy load of cheese!
While the chicken is in the oven, I stir fried 1 red peppers (sliced) and one onion (diced). It takes quite a while for the peppers to become soft. I added in 2 tsp of the pesto sauce, 2 tsp of sugar and also some water to speed up the boiling process of the peppers.
Leave the chicken in the oven at 170-180 degrees for about 30 minutes or until you think it's done. Halfway through, I took the chicken out and used the kitchen scissors to make an 'X' mark around the bone area so that it'll cook faster. Before u serve the chicken, spread the peppers and onions over the chicken, sprinkle some cheese on top and leave it in the oven for awhile with the temperature still on!! OMGG!!! salivate. Darn good. This dish will make your BF love you more. hahahha.
