Home
Hello from Malaysia!
Im really happy to be home. At first, I wasnt too excited to return home. I know, weird right?! Maybe bcoz I found myself an extended family in Cardiff. You know who you are, my extra brother and sister :) However, it was not soon enough that I realised it was silly of me to feel that way. The minute I stepped into my house, I was amazed at the vast of space and the cleanliness, dust-free, picture perfect house, my own home. I love my home and my bed! OHHH!! Finally back to my king size bed. I used to fall off my single bed back at the halls of residence. haha. Even kakak's room is bigger than my room in Cardiff!
People have been asking me what have I been doing. My answer is - nothing! hehe. Just sleeping at weird hours and wasting the day away snoozing, eating and watching tv. Oh i miss switching channels so so soooo much!! Ahh! Luxury. Seriously. No wonder people say there is no where better than your own home sweet home.
Today my best friend, Lydia came over. As usual, we always have one million things to say to one another. Im so happy to have her in my life. :) And tomorrow Im going to see Davina! yay!! :) She tells me that her 1 week break back from USM is reserved all for me! Cant believe we only have 1 week together :( Oh well..better than nothing. Thank God it's 1 week. Last year when I got back, we only got to see each other for the weekend!!! So sad!
My uncle tells me that I should exercise after I have dinner so that I can sleep. Im still suffering from jet lag.. Ah! It's 2 am and Im wide awake. And I just had mee mamak that Papa brought back. What sinful indulgence! And there was the other night where I had roti canai at 12 midnight. Some people might say Im a bit 'fei fei' but I beg to differ. Lydia is right! She says that girls here are just way too skinny and that we are to embrace our curves! haha. I cannot agree more.
Anyway, my handsome bf got offered to do his pupillage in a prestigious law firm in Malaysia. I am so proud of him!!! It's not even 5 days since he was back in Malaysia and he was called for an interview and offered one. God is good! Plus, when the interviewer asked him, "Are you argumentative?" He took awhile to ponder and hit the jackpot by replying, "If need be, yes." And he looks even more handsome now with his new haircut. He reminds me of a football star. hehehehehe *giggles. I will post up pictures soon.
I really enjoyed my family trip to Paris, Barcelona and London. My father and mother are one of God's greatest gift to me. Why them as my parents? Why me as their child? Being brought up in such a loving and caring family, I can never ask for more. When I graduated on the 16th of July, I teared twice during the ceremony. It is because I am blessed to have such amazing parents to nurture and provide both financially and emotionally that I could walk up to the Vice President, shake his hand while he congratulates me with a huge smile. I told mummy, I surely cry on my wedding day one!!! hehe. She tells me not to cry but instead, to cry all I want now so that I wouldnt ruin my makeup on my big day.
And today, as I was watching TV, this stupid mosquito flew into my mouth!!!! SO GROSS!! I wasnt even opening my mouth bigbig!! Straightaway, I thought, should I swallow it or vomit it out. Obviously, it's easier and less disgusting to do the former and I opted for that. I drank a cup of water and another cup of hot water to kill it. Still afraid that it might fly up into my mouth, I ate a banana! hahahahaa.
It's 2.30am and I should try sleeping now. This cant go on forever!! I dont want to sleep the day away tomorrow.

About Me

- Hui Ann
- We do not remember days; we remember moments. I was once told by a friend that we should do the following: To laugh often and much; to appreciate beauty, to find the best in others; and know that great things can only come with hardship because everything happens for a reason.
