Princess' Diary

Hiye. Today I worked at CIA as a bar staff. It was Dolly Parton's concert! From where I stood, I could watch the whole performance and so, yes I watched the concert for free! hehe. Happiness ;) I'm not like a big fan of the woman herself, but one thing for sure - she's extremely talented! (she can plays tons of instruments! If you wiki her, they say she even plays 'finger nails' ??? o.0 Yeah, exactly, that was my reaction as well). And boy, can she sing. At 65, she's still on top form, rocking the stage away and that really impressed me!

Some people are born to be a performer, and she's definitely one of them.

As for today's job, I learnt a lot. I was really, really scared when I had to be in charge of my own till cause I haven't done it before and there were so many types of drinks at this bar. Sometimes when they order more than 5 drinks, I get all frazzled up. And the worst thing, I didnt know how rusty my math was until today! It's terrible how much we rely on machines these days. One customer even had to tell me the amount of change that he's supposed to get back! T_T I need to hide my face. Maybe that's why I read law! haha. Aaaahh so embarrassing. All in all, it was a nice experience serving customers and saying "Next please!" ;) hehe. I also made a new friend and she gave Milo and I a lift home. Was really thankful coz it was drizzling tonight.

Anyway, Cindy's finally back! I'm so happy to see her. We had chocolates that she bought for us and Milo's signature teh-tarik. Yumm! That was my dinner :S

Looking forward to Adele's concert next Wed. Hopefully I get to work at the Bar facing the stage again!
