Many people fall off the exercise bandwagon during winter. I'm a prime example of such a lot. I've been so lazy to go for a run since....Autumn?? :S Mid-august to be exact ... bad! Really bad. You know it's time to take action when you wake up everyday feeling as though your butt has expanded half-an-inch. HAHA too much detail? Sigh. No. No sigh-ings when something can be done. And so I went jogging and had a good workout today, alfresco. Gyms are not my thing - never liked it. Maybe it's because I find it really boring. Treadmills and weights are the only equipments you'll see me using because I'm such a novice 'gym-mer' but I'll never say no to fitness classes! ;)

I ran quite far today, until I discovered the Pump Room. It was actually sunny and so I decided to take the opportunity to get some sunshine vitamin in this nation that suffers from a lack of it. (If I stay any longer in Britain, the weather is going to be my favourite topic of discussion). Anyway, I could feel all those endorphins excreting as I jogged pass the city centre, heading towards 2 of the largest parks in Chel'm. Parks are my absolute favourite! And the fall really has its own beauty. The mixture of green, orange, red and fallen brown leaves makes the whole scenery so picturesque.

At the front side of the park where I stood, I admired the beautiful bridge on the other side of the lake, and I wanted go over there. When I reached the said bridge, you wouldnt believe it, I realised that from where I stood before, I was actually standing on a bridge as well. It makes me think that life always seems better at the other end but we forget to appreciate how good it is at present. AND then, I remember another saying : The grass is always greener on the other side. The person who came up with it must have be an avid jogger. This brings me back to the times when I jogged a lot in July because when I'm on one end, I see that the grass is really, really green on the other side. But when I reached the other side, I'd realised that the grass was actually just as green.

Anyway, I stopped by Superdrug on the way back, and I'm extremely proud of my sister!! ;) Seeing and hearing her give such professional advice to customers really puts a BIG smile on my face. hehe. My sister's so intelligent. ;)

This is quite an old song I know, but I've come to like it.

We do not remember days; we remember moments. I was once told by a friend that we should do the following: To laugh often and much; to appreciate beauty, to find the best in others; and know that great things can only come with hardship because everything happens for a reason.
