Footloose!
MUSICAL REVIEW #1
Hiye all!! So sorrie for the late post. Ive been so busy this whole weekend and have lots to tell but I'll just blog bout the latest event which is Footloose, a musical which i just watched tonight.
Kenneth and i went to the theater at 5.30pm to ask whether there's still tickets for the last show, 7.30pm held tonight. I didn't really wanna go as i was really tired and my neck and back are aching because my pillow is so not comfy! Did grocery shopping and all today. Bought 2 pillows from Marks & Spencer and a pair of shoes from Dorothy Perkins. HEHE. Anyway it was TIRING! Somemore i havent finish my tutorial hw yet and im blogging 0_o
And we were thinking, if there's no tickets that means it's not meant for us. (haha, u know hw we all like to think that way so that we dont feel so sad?) And u know what, the guy told us there's 2 more seats left at the upper circle - it's the cheapest and that's what we wanted... so YAY!! So ngum rite! God is soo good =D

Kenneth gv me a treat for this one! hehe thanks dear! =D
The synopsis of the story goes like this:
Life in small town Bomont is peaceful - until city boy fr Chicago, Ren, arrives. Breaking every taboo, Ren brings dance back to the heart of a town held by the memory of a tragedy. It is very much a coming of age tale , dealing with family relationships and generation gaps. Throw in the difference between city kids and country ones with a fair amount of teenage angst , you have the story altogether.
I thoroughly enjoyed Footloose and it was worth every penny . It played to a full house and went down a storm.
When Ariel Moore , played by Tweenie Lee Moore ( the female lead ) , sings ‘Holding out for a Hero’ and a gang of slow motion heroes appear, the scene was electricifying! The cheers from young women all over the hall said it all. From the firemen to the naval officer to the builder they were all perfect!! haha and they all had such good body! The firemen didnt wear his shirt okie! and the soldier also! can see their abs! hehehe. nice.

Footloose really did explode onto the stage with classic '80s anthems including Holding Out For a Hero, Almost Paradise, Let's Hear it For the Boy, and of course, the title track, Footloose. On the whole it had such a young , fresh cast who were full of life and so keen , despite having such a hectic schedule where they have to perform everyday for this whole week and twice on sat itself. The cast are touring Europe and today is their last performance at Cardiff.
That's all for now. I LOVE FOOTLOOSE!
I wanna buy their t shirt. Really nice! SIGH but it's 20 pounds. omg Rm120 okie. If it's 10 pounds i surely get it already.
Anyway, i feel so satisfied tat i will rate this musical a 9 out of 10. Mm..i really hope that ill be able to be part of a production like this one day and hv a chance to tour around.
This got me thinking. Life is short, you're only young once, so live life to the fullest and chase after your dreams!
Love u all!
Sweet dreams =)
