Sunday Morning
It's Sunday morning and we went to the same chinese church i first attended. Siew Meng came along. We were so happy because he's starting to open up to the gospel.
The sanctuary.
L to R: Me, Kenneth, Siew Meng, Liang
Hehe we or more accurately, i decided to take some pics before service starts.
Liang is doing 2nd year optometry. There r quite a number of students doing that course.
L to R: Isaiah and Lip Seng
The University asked Isaiah to leave Cardiff because he was short of 2 marks to pass one of his resit papers in his 2nd year of medical course. How harsh! However, we prayed for him and God remained faithful and true to His people. Eventually, they allowed Him to continue his studies in a NEW degree, Bachelor of Science and then if he still wants to pursue medic, he can do it after the degree.
Not too sure whether they let him continue his medic course. Anyhow, we are so happy that Isaiah could continue his studies here. He actually got ready and had a ticket to go home next week. Praise God! =D
L to R: SM, Kenneth, Me, Theresa, Gillian
SM looks like a bear! hehehe. So cute.
Theresa is a really good cook. She made spaggeti and rice for us on the first week we arrived.
Gillian is doing her final year in Pharmacy. JPA Student okie! Smart gal.
Lunch at Happy Gathering.
This is one of the best part. We had DIM SUM = TOUCH HEART. (haha direct translation)
It did not only fill our hungry stomach, but it sure did touch our hearts too! hehehe. It was extremely delicious. Didnt manage to take pic of most of the food because i felt kinda shy to keep taking pics of the dishes in front of so many ppl.
Char Siew + Siew Yuk with crispy noodle. Y-U-M!!!!
Honestly, i havent tasted Siew Yuk for such a long time. Papa! I miss the nasi lemak we always hv on Saturdays.. It's going to be a long time before i can taste it again. =(
This dish is called Fried Octopus. It's their specialty. And what can i say? They lived up to it.
Fried dim sum with mince meat, vege and mushrooms.
The fried pau look alike was filled with a generous portion of the stuffings mentioned. DELICIOUS!
Noodles with big chunks of beef.
This dish is not that bad. Tasty. However, the noodles were quite hard and oilyyy..
One of the church members who owns a factory selling tau fu, tau fu fa and tau pok was selling it downstairs in the restaurant. I bought a pack of fresh tau fu which i will cook tomorrow for dinner. Hehe. 1.50 pounds okie. I will stop converting.
Muaks. Going to take a short nap. The time shown in my blog is crazy. It's showing the wrong one tho and i dont know hw to fix it.

About Me

- Hui Ann
- We do not remember days; we remember moments. I was once told by a friend that we should do the following: To laugh often and much; to appreciate beauty, to find the best in others; and know that great things can only come with hardship because everything happens for a reason.
