GYM! =D
HIYE all!! Today's wed and we have only half a day of classes which r held in the morning. The afternoons are for extra co-curricular activities. Cardiff believes in enculcating a healthy lifestyle in every student. Hence all the sport activities r mostly held then! Dance, football, badminton, and all sorts of sporting events are usually on weds. However i always go to SLASH dance society on Fri nights. Dunno y they have it on fridays but im totally into it!! They teach a mixture of styles- Hip hop, Ragga,Jazz,Latino, Modern, Funk, Banghra, DnB, Street ... ALL kinds lah! hehe. super super nice!!
So usually, i either go out on weds or stay in n do work. Or just sleep. hehe. But TODAYY..more like..since last week... i realised ive been feeling so unfit.. Dancing just once a week is NOT enuh at ALL!! So, ive been goin jogging till the weather gave me its ill-favored signs by caressing me with its cold windy breeze. SO cold okie!! cannot jog adi =( Somemore the parks here r super huge!!! like....20 times bukit kiara. and it's sooo beautiful... mm.. cant wait to jog in jan =)
And, so i cant just sit down and continue eatttttingg eattting eatting.... if i dont work out.. ill be FAT FAT when i come back next year. noooooo hehehe...
So i found this incredible deal, thanks to Cindy, and printed out a free pass for 2 to use a gym located at the city. Best thing, the gym is mainly catered for working adults so it was not jam packed with students. There were SOOO many guys there okie.. So shy! haha.. but most of them hv super tone n bulges of muscles on their hand.... woooo nice. hahaha.
Illy n i so pai seh coz we're so noob with d usage of equipments. in the end we used the track mill... i burn 50 calories n 10mins. not bad huh? =) that's the energy equivalent to 1/8 of a burger. imagine that! hehe. ANyway,.. aft that.. the next best thing.... DANCE CLASS!!!!
We tried the Step and Ab Blast... FU Yoh!! Super good!!It's a choreographed aerobic blast using the step from all directions. Defintely a challenge for cardiovascular fitness, core strength and awareness of direction! p/s: my sense of direction is improving =P I sweat soooo much i was so happie with myself. And, we even had to use dumb bells halfway tru d routine- 2kgs. It was reallie a challenge!! I tell u i kept psyhicing myself not to give up and that i can do it!! and yes i did!! hehe... the last part...... we placed a mat on the Step, i increased the block on it so it's harder, and.... we did sthg like crunches but not reallie... dont hv to go all the way up, but we held our dumb bells and did this strainous exercise by using our abs to move ourselves up. Next time i come back i show u my 6 pack abs. wwoooo...hahhaha
It was an excellent workout. A+!!!
While going tru this workout, i realised sthg. I realised what i would like to do next time - if my dream of becoming a dancer n perform may seem like an end of a rainbow, i think i would love to be a dance instructor and teach.
Hehe just a thought.
