PostHeaderIcon Christmas Dinner

Im addicted to this. Kenneth bought it for me when he was in Manchester. :) thxs darlie!

I found this Mud Mask and Quenching Mask which Claudia recommended to me and it is SOO good! I am going to send it back to my mummy dearest since you can't get it in Malaysia. The Mud Mask actually helped removed my stubborn blackheads and whiteheads! At least now ive found a remedy without me having to go for facial or buying peel offs from the pharmacy.

And so, having found a miraculous cure, i decided to spread its goodness by treating Kenneth's face with it. Hee hee. He didnt want to at first but after i put it on his face, he was so gay he decided to take pictures of himself when i was washing my hands in the toilet.

Last tuesday, Aberdare Hall provided dinner for all its residents! I was very excited about it since it's a 3 course meal!

I didnt know what to wear and thought of going in jeans and shirt but my hall mates were all in dresses so *gulp! had to change and put on something nicer.

Linda, Me, Lynn, Neha

We had mulled wine. It's basically warm mild red wine, a very famous drink during Christmas. I love the unique warm taste of it since we usually have it cold back home in Msia.

We had party packs too!

This was what i found in it! hehe so cute!

And lynn found herself a moustache! haha.

And i befriended April from China,a gal sitting next to me. She asked me this question and when i answered her, she told me that she was very impressed.

April: So next time when you graduate, do you plan to work here?

Me : No. I want to go back to Malaysia to serve my country. But if there are job opportunities here, i wouldnt mind working for 2 years and then go back and transfer my skills.

April : Oh my goodness. You are the first person i met who told me that you want to go back to serve your country because you love your country. Most people i meet tell me that they will go back because they miss their family or for the reason that it's difficult in getting a job here.

In my most humble opinion, if ALL overseas graduate have this stereotype mindset that working overseas gives a better life, what would the future of Malaysia become? If you stop complaining of our country but do something to make it better, as such as being an effective and productive citizen, our country will improve and u will see a better Malaysia and a better tomorrow for u and for me. I always feel that we should always remember our roots and where we came from. What is the true meaning of being a Malaysian? Plus, job opportunities in our home country is so much better because we are a developing country. Discrimination is inevitable whether by skin, race or religion. We just make the best out of the situation we're in. Even if you would work in a foreign country, you'll also always be a second citizen. So it's better off to work in your country. Plus, pay may not be very attractive now, but it will be improve slowly. And it's not always just about the money but the predilection of loyalty, which is priceless.

However im not saying it;s bad to work overseas. I think it's great if you could get a job here and work for a few years. After that, return and transfer your skills to Msia. hehe. Then we'll improve! Wawasan 2020. hehe

Soup of the Day! yummy

Green Peas, Carrots, Mini Cabbage(i think. but i dont like it)

I have no idea what's wrong with the pictures. Sorry. hehe u have to tilt ur head to see it better.

Roast Turkey, Stuffing, Bacon Rolls, Roast & Mashed Potato, Roast Parsnips, Peas, Sprouts, Cranberry & Gravy.

It felt so good to have a 3 course meal, served right in front of me. I definitely enjoyed myself!:)

Jess and i

Dessert : Christmas Pudding

Was a bit too sweet for me so i had half of it only.

I thought it was chocolate cake okie. so excited! then when i put it into my mouth..sniff. i felt a sense of disappointment.. it's not choc cake :( boo.. hehe but happy still. free food wei!

We also had oranges. wait it's not called oranges. I cant remember what it;'s called. Anyway i had one after dinner and i ta paoed 3 that was left because none of my friends wanted. So wasteful!! i kept it and had it for the next 2 days - an extra 1/5 portion of my daily needs for fruits! *mmm i feel very si-lai sometimes =_=;;

Do u like my coat? So nice rite! hehe i super super love love it!

Later that night, Cindy and i walked over to Claudia's place to give her a surprise before she leaves back to Malaysia. Take care Claudia! We'll miss you very much! When u come back we'll wear pretty dresses and go out for dinners and yeah shopping! =D

*hugs*
