Frost on Sunday Morning! I thought it snowed :(
Last Sunday, Cardiff Chinese Church English Student Fellowship formed a choir group where we performed and sang Christmas carols in church. I was given the task to lead this event and was the conductor for the day! :D Hehe. I learnt a lot from organizing this event... from leading the practises, finding the music score sheets for musicians and planning this whole event. It thought me how to be a leader and what it really means to be responsible because there is no one else to run to incase something comes up and i hv to take charge.

I look a bit fatter here. sniff. actually i am lor. what to do! One happy thing to do here is eat eat and eat. AIYO! somemore, yesterday i just went for a chinese dinner and we ate so much, it cost each of us 10 pounds per person. I had duck, chicken, fish, kangkung, brinjal, spare ribs and tau fu. BUtttt,...somehow i still loveeee indian food more!! Mixed briyani with chicken, lamb n prawns, WWOOOo yum yum.
The musicians were great! I was supposed to play the violin but then we needed someone to conduct the performance and so i availed myself as the conductor and asked Theresa and Connie instead to play the violin.

Connie and Theresa

Alice, my good friend did a wonderful job in playing the piano. She hasnt touched the piano for quite some time but she still managed to play so well! I am so proud of her! :)

Alan and Lip Sing
Both of them are naturally talented. haha. Esp Lip sing. He is really good with the guitar. This helped me a lot coz i just hv to tell him hw i want the music to be played and he does it! thxs lip sing!

The choir and musicians
And u know what, we managed to raise 100 pounds for 2 of our missionaries in Khazastan! It was just a 15minute performance! Thank you Jesus! =) You amaze us all the time.

A cute lil gal looking at us while we were practising

This is a neighbouring cat that always wonder around the church's enclosure. This blackie cat is such a cutie! It is not afraid of human's touch annnnd it loves catching birds! It's actually trying to catch one that's on the tree. hehe.

After that we went to Ichiban, a Japanaese Restaurant for lunch. I miss jap food so so much! sugimoto!

This lil boy is so cute i just had to take a picture of him. hehe, im such a stalker! :P

Ivy, one of our church members was selling tau fu at one of the nearby Chinese restaurant so i went to pong chan at her place. I bought tau fu fa, tau fu and also tau fu pok.

Passed by a cake shop and i saw this AMAZING piece of artwork. A Barbie princess-y cake!! sooo nice!! It's actually written on the cake - Happy 1st Birthday Heidy. If i had such a cake like these, ill be so em seh tak to cut it!!

Later that day, i went for another choir performance by the Aberdare Hall Choir group. They were really good. I esp love the song entitled "Peace Child".
On Monday, i decided to cook for Kenneth a nice lunch to welcome him back.

Fried omellete with prawns. I actually managed to flipped it over without it breaking and falling into pieces!! bravoOO to myself!! hahahaa

dunno what's wrong with the pic. Cant seemed to rotate it. Anyway, I cooked Ma Po Tau fu. I added in corn, leeks(that kenneth finds disgusting but i love it so he has to learn hw to eat it-hahaha) and garlic. VERY GOOD!!

Then i pan fried this 2 amazing juicy oyster leg chicken (i dunno what they call them that-it's actually chicken drumstick with thigh) coated with curry powder, salt and special frying chickenpowder.
I gotta do my assignment now. byee!
