PostHeaderIcon Prague Part 2

Every morning, at around 7am, Gillian, Caroline and i will be wide awake because 3 of us have to shower in the morning.

After that, ill wake up the rest by switching on the lights and blowing my hair dry! hehe! sorry guys!

Alice and i having breakfast - Cereals and Sandwich with ham, lettuce and butter

I think they just slapped a huge chunk of butter into our sandwiches so i removed it out myself.

So colourful ya? :)

#1: OLD TOWN SQUARE

This is the old town square, also called Staromak for short, which is the heart of the city. You wouldn't be able to see the square so clearly the area is fully occupied by the Christmas Stalls.

Till today, it remains an awe-inspiring assemblage of architecture and history.

Part of the Square.

One of the fancy pancy restaurants. $$$

Kenneth & I.

I love this picture! The buildings behind plus the wonderful architecture makes the picture perfect for postcards :)

#2: ASTRONOMICAL CLOCK

It's probably the no.1 attraction in the city of Prague.

The Old town hall was given a clock in 1410 (almost 600 years ago) by the master clockmaker, Mikulas which was improved by Master Hanus who created the Astronomical clock we see today.

On every hour, the 12 disciples comes out to do a little precession from the windows behind on top of the clock.

It's de rigueur to wait for the hourly show by the slightly overrated Astronomical Clock.

Janet, Caroline, Alice, Me

There were lots of crystal shops - although they are not anything special from Prague.

And there were many shops selling marionette!

They have many signpost with clocks :) So no excuse for Praguers for forgetting the time!

Hard Rock Cafe

Every building has their own individual character which potrays the wealth and status of each resident(purchaser) during the olden days.

I have much much more to explain and many more pictures to show but i think should sleep early for tonight. So get ready for Part 3 tomorrow! :)
