Prague Part 3
ST VITUS CATHEDRAL

I have always seen this in the movies and so i thought it was pretty cool to be able to see this right before my eyes.

CHARLES BRIDGE
My personal favourite!

Sniff. But then we had extra time the following day so we visited Charles Bridge at night.
The view was simply breathtaking.

I think it would be best to visit this place in the morning as you get to see things more clearly. Moreover, there are many people selling things on the bridge such as postcards and paintings of the beautiful Prague.

MUNICIPAL HOUSE

There's a french restaurant, cafe and a concert hall inside. We didnt go in, just snapped pictures from a distance.

No point shopping in Prague. Their sense of fashion is abominable incomparison with UK's fashion. All of us finished looking around in the mall in 45 minutes.
DANCING HOUSE
I embarassed myself on that day! I was the first to march in the building only to realise that visitors were not allowed to go in and was summoned to come out by Janet. ^^
A Siberian Husky by the window. Saw it while passing by an alley.
Man with a hat :P
I think they choose to put a had on the man icon because people here usually wear caps, ski cap and all to cover their ears in winter.
As always, our trip will not be as fabulous as it is without good food.

This one was fingerliciouslikinggood!! Salami, ham, pepperoni, cheese & mussels.
This one was bad...really bad..
Prague's really famous for their cheap beer. So i tried a few there.
Gambrino.
Pilsner Urquel. (This one's everywhere-the most famous one)
One first dinner at Prague. We just walked into it and later found out that it was the first on the list to be recommended by our hostel. YAY! hehe thank u God.
Kolkovna serves really delicious food! :)
Old CZECH Kolkovna Platter 500g
*salivating
1/4 duck, Moravian sparrow, smoked meat, beer sausage. white and red cabbage. dumplings, bacon dumplings and potato dumplings
I remember how the sausage taste like. **JUICY & CHEESY** Y-U-M!!
Good food but a tad pricey compared with other restaurants at Prague.
However, generally speaking the food in Prague is much cheaper than in the UK.
Kenneth with his Pilsner. It was so cheap! Less than 1 pound for this huge mug!
No wonder the whites here like to go to Prague.
Kitty & Kenneth
Okie, that night i wanted to try the B-52 my other friend has been telling me about. So i ordered it and the man litted up my drink for me which i was supposed to down it all with the straw. However i couldnt!!! It was really hot and u know what happen?? My straw melted! hehe. YEAH! In the end i drank it layer by layer (there's 3 layers in the drink)
I dont like drinking, but then since this one's a chocolate drink i wanted to try.
After drinking that and beer during the previous meals, i always get really sleep and red. hehe.
We also had chinese food there which was soo cheap!! And we were all so full!
ME LOVE CHINESE FOOD! :D
Ice cream parlour recommended by Ivy.

Not bad :) We kena conned in another ice cream shop where we paid more and treated rudely. bad bad service!
Prague is a lovely city but the people are the opposite. If they would like to have more visitors, i should think that they'll have to put in more effort in learning their manners and respecting others as a whole.
Maybe they're just sad sad people.
DANCING HOUSE
Love the unique design.
Czech president Vacav Havel, who lived for decades next to the site, had supported it, hoping that the building would become a center of cultural activity. On the roof is a French restaurant with magnificent views of the city. The building's other tenants include several multinational firms. (The plans for a cultural center were not realized.)I embarassed myself on that day! I was the first to march in the building only to realise that visitors were not allowed to go in and was summoned to come out by Janet. ^^

hehe. okie la. that's all. Oh ya. wanted to tell u all sthg. In Prague, I learnt a lesson. We didnt buy our train ticket and used the old one which was valid for only 24 hours. We used it on the 14th at 9am and again on the 15th at 9.15am. So, obviously the ticket was invalid.
But we thought we could just bypass buying a new one since no one checks our ticket at the train station. OMG mana tau the guard stopped ME & KENNETH!! There were so many ppl but WE were the ones who were asked to show our tickets.
I had an adrenaline rush and was so scared, i didnt know what to say or do. Practically dumbfounded. Thank God kenneth was with me and he negotiated with the guard. We were brought to one end of the station and he fined us 700 koruna. That's like probably 25 pounds. At first he wanted to fine us BOTH 700 koruna but he gave in in the end.

Morale of the story : I learnt that we should always do the right thing. It's always easier to say that we will do what's right but sometimes when the situation arises, it's easy to let go of the strong moral values that we hold. We all could have easily purchase the ticket at only 3 pounds and yet we didnt do so. My friends were all so kind - In the end, all of them paid us pack 10 koruna since there were 7 of us and all of us didnt buy a new ticket.

About Me

- Hui Ann
- We do not remember days; we remember moments. I was once told by a friend that we should do the following: To laugh often and much; to appreciate beauty, to find the best in others; and know that great things can only come with hardship because everything happens for a reason.
