PostHeaderIcon Hello

Today is sunny but it's starting to get chilly.

My room faces prime bungalows. Not like last year, where i faced a garden and Old Hall/Library wing that acted like a shield from the strong gusty winds. I can freeze in my room.

Today, the cleaner confiscated my rice cooker. I was devastated, only because I am Chinese and my staple food is rice! Not to mention, i just spent 8 pounds for a 2.5 kg extra delicious imported Japanese white rice. It's the best I had ever tasted! Even better than the ones i have at home- Thai rice etc. I was going ga-ga over my rice that I even enjoy rinsing them with water just to feel its texture.

We had English test today and im dumbfounded that I spelled occasion like this- "ocassion". How can that happen??! Omg rite. Super fail. I also spelt accommodation with a single m. Hehe. Looks like I really have to read and write more.

Last night was my first night staying in Aberdare Hall. It is indeed a lil spooky as the halls are empty. I get really scared when I have to go to the bathroom to brush my teeth, which I did, twice, because the toothbrush my mum gave me from home wasnt as good as the other one that i kept in my storage boxes. So, I changed my toothbrush to a new one last night. The effect was having sparkly white pearly teeth after that. hehe. Nowadays, Im forced to floss my teeth every night since 3 of my wisdom tooth appeared. Food kept getting stuck in between my molar and wisdom tooth.

Okie, enough of teeth story, I gotta pack my room once more and will head off to see Baby. She is too sweet u know! She came over yesterday to surprise me with coffee and her oh-so-delicious home made choc cake to console her dear friend who is very much overwhelmed not only with unpacking the whole weekend, but needed to prepare for classes on Monday as well. It didnt help that my Iphone totally hanged when i tried to upgrade it through I tunes. Will have to resuscitate it at the Apple store in a few days time. It is one of those rare times that I know I have been out given by someone. She loves me dearly and has surprised me countless times with her love, care and generosity. Im more than blessed to have such a wonderful friend to walk alongside through this part of my life. Her train leaves to Bristol at 8 ish and I will miss her wholeheartedly! God bless her a million fold.

Kenneth is another sweetie pie. He has supported me at times when i feel like i have lost my mind. hehe. I think i have yet to learn how to handle pressure effectively and what better way than starting off and ending this Professional Course with a bang. He has been earning money and doing odd jobs for University. Im so proud of him. :) I will blog about my 4 years anniversary soon.

We do not remember days; we remember moments. I was once told by a friend that we should do the following: To laugh often and much; to appreciate beauty, to find the best in others; and know that great things can only come with hardship because everything happens for a reason.
