Yesterday, I went shopping!!! FINALLY it was a fruitful one. Seriously. I went through so many failed shopping trips trying to buy sthg i really like. So.. thank God i waited and this day arrived!! And thanks to my debit card and my parents who puts in money into my bank acct. hehe! A debit card is akin to an ATM card with credit card facilities. The difference is that with a debit card, u can purchase things with it and it will be deducted straight away from ur current account.

It's very common to find ppl performing on the streets and the public giving them loose change or who knows, maybe big bucks in return of their hardwork and talent in performing. The locals are totally into all these ancient traditional stuff. These guys play music and sing songs that are similar to our Iban Kadazan traditional music. AND! the public really adores them! Many went up to put money into the basket that's on top of the table covered with blue cloth.

Can u imagine if we have like a lion dance performance!! wah surely get alot of money. hehe

We went into Dorothy Perkins. They were having 20% sale for everything in their store for the day. I know the reason y is that they're trying to boost sales b4 Boxing Day arrives in order to earn more revenue before they cut down the prices by a slam dunk figure. Anyways, i couldnt wait. And hw if i wait wait and wait, then it's gone!! just like d hat i liked. Plus left only 2 pairs for size 6. (in the UK, the sizes are 1 size smaller than the one u wear back in Msia. So if ure a 7 in Msia, ure a 6 here)

Real Leather Boots somemore!! Hw to resist? As they say, when u find the right one,..Get it b4 someone does! hehehe. p/s: this idea does not apply to all kinds of situations in life okie.

So i bought it! It was 60 pounds, but with 20% discount and some reduced VAT, i got it for abt 47 pounds i think. yay! It's comfortable but a bit tight at the edge of my feet. But im sure it'll loosen up after i walk a lot coz leather stuffs are always like this.

The one i bought is the one on the right! Nice a not? I bought the shorter one coz i hv a tall one already. Sometimes i regret buying the tall one with high heeled coz i cant wear it for long. max is 3 hours and then ill hurt! Seriously, to all who are looking to invest in a good boots.. get flat ones first. It's more practical as u can wear it all the time.

Actually our first stop was Peacocks. The stuff they sell are quite cheap. Cindy and i bought ourselves some stuff there. I bought a clubbing outfit for only 5.70pounds! wahh such a good buy. Half price. I chose for Cindy a sexy short skirt which she bought in the end. yay she looks hot in it :) I would hv gotten one for myself but no size! :( oh well. Both us are happy that at least we hv sthg to wear next Fri when we go n celebrate the last day of our semester! YAY! holidays!! whee!!

The second stop was Top Shop! Hello motto! haha. Anyway i love the stuff they sell there. But they are pretty pricey. I hv been looking for "THE" jacket for such a long time. Like....11 weeks to be exact. And i finally found "THE" jacket!! hehehe. I got it fr Top Shop and i will post up pics on it another day coz right now my camera battery needs a recharge. It's grey in colour:)

We went into St David's Shopping Mall where we passed by something very kawaii!!

So pretty rite? The christmas tree is way way HUGEEE!! plus it looks so pretty aft being litted up. This is Santa's grotto where u hv to pay 3.50pounds if u want to take a pic with Santa. Then u can pay more if u want ur pic to be on a key chain or framed up. U can also pay to get a secret present from Santa, which i find a bit lame, hahaha.

Cardiff may be small. It's even rumored as a retirement town. I, on one hand, feels Cardiff is big enough for me. It's so convenient to walk to the other end of the street or even to get to the city. Getting to class is the best! takes me less than 5mins. U might not get a splendid range of branded goods as u can get in London or Manchester, but however Cardiff offers u friendly and a very warm environment. Motorist stops for u to cross the street and strangers smiles at u. Some even comes up and asks u how's ur day and hav a lil chat with u. How nice can that be? :) The pace of life here is slow and i find it very peaceful. And we;re not a dead town at all! 95% of faces u c here are young ppl coz we have a very big number of university students in cardiff. Plus ppl here party a lot too!! esp on fridays and mondays. Crazy crazy.

Kenneth went to Manchester and later to Leeds to surprise his 2frens on their 22nd bday from Wednesday to Saturday midnight.

So im left to cook for myself. sniff! Guess what i cook last night? Spaggeti bolognese with extra mushroom sauce. I added almos the same ingredients as i did for the fried rice. Very nice! I cooked 3 portions to be eaten last night for dinner and for today's lunch and dinner. hehe so sad hor. ya darlie faster come back :) I miss ur cooking.

Ppl always ask me y i dont stay together with Kenneth. Ive been asked so many times that im more often than not too lazy to explain myself. The reason y i choose to live separately is because we're young and i feel we should have our own space. We're not married that we should stay together and see each other all the time. I always feel that we should have a balance in our social life, work life, love life, family life and everything else. Kenneth and i also respect each other alot that we are a couple who are like the best of friends. Everything has boundaries and we follow it because being physical only destroys the relationship. And i know when we follow what Jesus says, He really blesses our relationship and we find each other more and more in love with one another. hehe. And He tells us to do the right thing because it's for our own benefit. He wants us to be happy and to enjoy every single moment of our life in d right time.


My korean flatmate used a peeler to extract a layer of cold potato she had from the fridge that soothe my painful soared finger. Thanks Eona :) Apparently it absorbs heat well. A traditional practise in Korea.

I hv no mood whatsoever to do my assignments. sigh..... looks i hv to do it anyway tonight.

Cant wait for hols!!! whee!!
