Enough Said
What is justice? It can be said that it is "the upholding of what is just, especially fair treatment and due reward in accordance with honor, standards, or law."
One of the many things that i will never regret in my life is the decision to read law and to do so in Cardiff. I ask myself the same question now and then, "why do i wanna study law?" I know i want to make an impact in d society we're living in, to serve my country and to ensure that justice is done. Having said so, justice must not only be done, but must be seen to be done. This is very true. It has to be "seen" & witnessed. But how very often do we see this? Let's not look too far as to the state of a country. Let's bring it closer to our everyday life. Uni? Work place?
Today i've grown a tad bit wiser than yesterday. Ive tried to sleep early but mind went against my tired body. Sometimes, i really wonder whether our votes do count even though we have a separate commission to make sure that no biasness or unlawful act is committed. Ah. Politicians. I dont know whether i should comment on them but one thing im sure of is this : When power seeps in and the majority gains it, surely, yes surely! there will be corruption. I wonder if good people were the ones in control, how sure are we to say that they will also not fall and do wrong just like d bad ones? Something to think about. It's easy to sway away from ur conscience when ppl have money and power. *Disclaimer: I hold nothing against anyone. So, pls do not take this personal :)
However, I will strive to be the best that i can be. I pray that i will never, ever facilitate injustice. One thing that i feel very strongly for is the family unit. Family is a fundamental group of society and the natural environment for the growth and well-being of all its members. Who we are today are widely and heavily influenced by our family. Children see their parents as their role models and hence, parents hold a great responsibility in bringing them up and setting a good example for them to follow. There are so many break downs in marriages today. Statistics shows that partners cohabitating at a young age would most likely end up in separation. I really hope that more parents will be better educated so that in return, they will be able to bring up their children in a very healthy and loving environment.
Another point i would like to stress is this : Say NO to leather goods!!!

About Me
- Hui Ann
- We do not remember days; we remember moments. I was once told by a friend that we should do the following: To laugh often and much; to appreciate beauty, to find the best in others; and know that great things can only come with hardship because everything happens for a reason.
